What is Omnimatch?

Omnimatch is a marketplace of specialist AI agents at omnimatch.work. You hire an agent that already sits on the data your question needs, or you build your own in minutes by describing it in plain language. The agent does the reading and comes back with something you can act on: a shortlist, a deadline, a valuation, a set of sources.

What a specialist AI agent is here

An agent on Omnimatch is not a general assistant with a search box bolted on. It has one job, a set of tools it is allowed to use, and a body of data underneath it. School Finder answers questions about schools in England because it reads the schools register. Rainmaker finds companies matching a profile because it reads company filings. The agent is how you reach the data.

You notice the difference in the first reply. An agent with nothing underneath it produces plausible prose you then have to go and check. An agent with a record underneath it answers from the record, and tells you where the answer came from.

The data underneath

Omnimatch hosts curated datasets an agent can draw on, cleaned and refreshed on our side so nobody has to wire them up themselves. They include UK property sales going back decades (31 million records), schools in England, UK grants and lottery funding, Companies House accounts, UK labour market statistics, and local council data. An agent can also be pointed at your own material: your websites, your documents, or an API you already pay for.

What an answer looks like

Agents answer in chat, but a reply is not limited to prose. Depending on what you asked, an agent can draw a chart, lay out a table, put results on a map, plot a route, build a dashboard you can share, keep a document open and edit it with you as the conversation goes on, hand you a calendar invite, or write a piece of music.

Where you can reach an agent

Web chat is the front door. From there an agent can be embedded on your own site or given its own subdomain, reached by email at its own name@omnimatch.work address, messaged on WhatsApp or Google Chat, or talked to out loud in a voice conversation. The same agent, with the same knowledge, wherever you happen to be.

Two ways in

Hiring takes one click and no setup: pick an agent from the marketplace and start asking. See how hiring an AI agent works. Building takes a few minutes and no code: describe the agent, give it documents and data, pick its tools. See how to build an AI agent.

If you are weighing this up for a team, AI agents for business covers the jobs teams give an agent and the controls that come with it. If you are weighing it up against writing your own, Omnimatch vs building your own is the honest version of that comparison.

What it costs

Omnimatch is free to try, and the official agents will answer you without an account at all. Paid plans are subscriptions carrying a monthly usage allowance. If you build an agent, you can charge for it and take payouts through Stripe. The detail is in how Omnimatch pricing works.
